Summer Is here And Who wants to be Paying Big $$money$$ For The Designer Brands? No smart girl! Use our 10 easy steps to go green, and be good to your wallet!
1. Thrift Stores are great! Check online for local thrift stores!
2. Coupons Coupons Coupons! Play them right and you could get loads of free stuff!
3. School Dances and Fun Events call for dresses knock off the pricey white gown for a cute vintage one! Cheap and One of a kind.
4. Purse swap! At you next GNO everybody swap purses! Fun!
5. Buy Online! You can get big discounts from buying online!
6. Give old clothes to thrift stores!! Some give you money for your used clothes, accserioes, and shoes!
7. Help your parents around the house! The more responsible you seem (or are) the more trust they will have for you!
8. Broken neclaces and bracelets can be made into brand new things!
9. Neighbors need breaks so offer to babysit for some extra $
10. Buy things you dont use much in small quantities (ec. by small bottles of perfume) and things you use a lot in large quanitys, or bulk! (ec. by a lot of hair supplies or shampoo at once!)

FASHION BRANDS TODAY
With more than 1,700 stores in 34 different countries, employing over 73,000 people, H&M has been climbing higher and higher into the demand of both Men and Women across the globe.
Established in 1947, H&M was orignally a store for Women. Originally called, "Hennes", or "hers" in Swedish. In 1968, H&M's owner, Erling Persson was prompted to offer Men's clothing.
H&M's first store was established in the UK, but the stores have been popping up all over from Switzerland to Dubai.
Believe it or not however, H&M's first store was opened in the US in March, 2000. So to us Americans it is rather new. But with South Korea up next in the blueprints [2010] there will be a local H&M store in every big city even to small towns.

H&M has the 66th most recognized brand in the world, worth $11 billion.
H&M stands for "Hennes & Muaritz". [Swedish]

I have a lot of old clothes that i don't really wear anymore. They are mostly baby doll tops. I like them but i don't know how to wear them. Got any advice?

Dear BDTOPOWNER,
First of all, baby doll tops come in all different lengths and styles. A lot of baby doll topslook great with skirts and shorts. Some longer ones though would look great with leggings and flats. As for the other clothes, you could always spruce them up to make you love them more! Some cute buttons or pins. Accessorize!! Anything old can be brought back to life with accessories. Try adding a belt to the mid section, a cute bracelet around your wrist, or an extra long necklace! Hope that helps.

Do you know of any good heat resistant sprays for my Hair? It's naturaly wavy and I straighten it every day.

Dear Split Ends,
Sometimes gels and sprays make your hair very greasy..Sometimes it’s best just to leave your conditioner in for longer and comb it, to rid of any tangles Tangles do NOT trap moisture. But here are a few sprays I recommend!
1) The brand is Nexxus and it’s a styling and heat protection spray. It’s available at Wal-Mart!
2) This one is from herbal essence. You spray it on while your letting your conditioner set and leave it in for about 3 minutes. It’s for your split ends!
I would try Nexxus or Herbal Essences products!

Dear FashionFlop,
I would go with whatever you feel you look good in or feel like wearing, but I would have to say sandals. To add more flair than just regular sandals, you can always find some that are VERY cute and even have a little bit of a heel.

OFF THE CHARTS
First, number one on the Top 40 is Boom Boom Pow, by the Black Eyed Peas. It's not really my style, but it is very catchy.
Know Your Enemy by Green Day is a new song and it came number 13 in the charts.
I'm happy that Mad World Adam Lambert's version (my favorite American Idol!) came number 15!! I thought he did way better than the original!
Kris Allen, the winner of American Idol came 16 in the charts, with his version of Heartless.
Of course, Lady Gaga had 3 songs on the charts.
The Jonas Brothers' new album, Lines Vines, and Trying Times comes out Tuesday the 16th! I am so excited! The songs are World War III, Paranoid, Fly With Me, Poisin Ivy, Hey Baby, Before the Storm, What Did I Do To Your Heart, Much Better, Black Keys, Don't Charge Me For the Crime, Turn Right, and Don't Speak. I can't wait!
Ok, song of the week: Lily Allen, The Fear. I just had to do a song of the week in the music column! Well, I guess it will be every two weeks. I will do songs that are not that popular, but should be, or great songs that we haven't heard in a long time. This week's song is called "The Fear" by Lily Allen, and it is awesome. The lyrics are saying what people start to think when they're famous because so many people love them and hate them. The music video looks really cool with dancing presents and balloons. Plus I love her accent.

New designer boutiques: Being girl is a fairly new designer boutique. I think what BeingGirl is all about is finding the inner girl in every girl. Their clothes express happiness and color!
Herbal Essences is a new designer boutique! They have lots of hair products, and spa type stuff. I love their boutique because it makes me feel like I am being pampered. With their vibrant colors they really make things attractive to customers.Imagine makeup sells awesome makeup and accessories! Anybody who loves makeup would love this boutique! Every time I go there, I feel like I am in a professional Makeup place.
